Actor Greg Draven and his Wyntercon Journey
You may remember last year we announced local Eastbourne personality and actor Greg Draven joined the Wyntercon management team.
Greg was essential to the running of Wyntercon 2016, as well as being the voice of Wyntercon over its weekend. He performed his Wyntercon duties magnificently and went above and beyond what was expected of him.
Wyntercon Guest and respected actor Jon Campling said “Having clear, informative yet fun announcements is crucial at any Comiccon and Greg’s natural ability to achieve this with ease really set Wyntercon apart.”
Wyntercon regular and Cos-player extraordinaire Gareth Beeching said “Greg made a huge difference to the event for me. He was the life of the show and what was missing [from the previous events]. He is a real public face that got the job done with that extra bounce.”
Greg’s journey has taken him on a path that means he doesn’t have the time to dedicate to Wyntercon that he would like. Greg is focusing on his acting, voice work and compering as well as recently becoming the spokesperson for Eastbourne Volunteers. We can’t think of anyone better for that position.

So – The important bit…
With all this in mind, Greg will be taking a step back from Official Wyntercon duties. However, our relationship with him is far from over.
The Voice of Wyntercon
Greg will be the official voice of Wyntercon again and you’ll be able to see and hear him compering Wyntercon 2017.
Wyntercon Founder Andy Kybett said “It’s been a real pleasure to work with someone so resourceful, reliable and passionate as Greg. I wish him all the best in his career and look forward to working with him again soon”.
Wyntercon is proud and lucky to work with some of the most amazing people, like Greg Draven and we look forward to a long relationship with him.
